THAI Serves Special Dessert to Celebrate the Coronation Ceremony 2019

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand, is pleased to serve Mongkut Petch and Thong Ake as special desserts for passengers traveling with THAI during 4-6 May 2019, marking the auspicious Coronation Ceremony 2019.  Mongkut Petch is a traditional Thai dessert that was specially designed and prepared by hand for this memorable occasion, prepared with 10 petals to signify the tenth reign and with a base made of sugar coated roasted watermelon seeds, which takes approximately three to five hours to prepare.  Thong Ake in the shape of a rose will also be served to passengers traveling on board THAI flights during this period.

–        Domestic Flights: Royal Silk Class passengers traveling on flights departing from Bangkok will be served Mongkut Petch in a gold-colored box.

–        International Flights:  Special Thai desserts will be served to passengers traveling on flights departing from Bangkok, where lunch or dinner is served, except for flights routed to the Middle East, India, and Kuala Lumpur.  Royal First Class passengers and Royal Silk Class passengers will be served Mongkut Petch in a gold-colored box. Economy Class passengers will be served Thong Ake, also packed in a gold-colored box.
