THAI Smile Increases Preventive Measures of COVID-19 in All Flights

THAI Smile Airways has stepped up the airline’s preventive measures of COVID-19 for all passengers and crew, providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer to passengers before boarding in all flights from today onwards.   Mrs. Charita Leelayudth, CEO of THAI Smile Airways, said the safety of our employees and passengers have always been our top priority. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, THAI Smile has stepped up precautionary measures and instructed staff in all related fields to strictly comply with the measures to ensure that aircrafts, equipment are safe. Also, exit screening is conducted at check-in counters including cabin crew and passengers who traveling on routes in the affected territories. Cabin crew are required to wear gloves and a face mask and provide alcohol-based hand sanitizer to all passengers in all flights before boarding and during the flight. A face mask will also be provided for passengers upon request. Pillows and blankets are temporarily unavailable in all flights, but sanitized blankets in packaging are available upon request. WE Smile magazines and catalogues are also unavailable in all flights from now until 30 April 2020 in an effort to prevent virus spread by direct contact.

“THAI Smile continues to rigorously enforce the airline’s preventive measures and avoid all risk factors of virus outbreak to reassure all passengers traveling with us,” Mrs. Charita added.
