Thai Vietjet commenced the inaugural flight of its latest service from Bangkok to Beijing, in response to the mutual visa exemption scheme agreed by Thailand and China Government to waive visa requirements for each other’s nationals, to facilitate travel and tourism between the two countries.
Early 31 January, 2024 at Beijing Daxing International Airport and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, passengers traveling on the inaugural flights VZ3718 and VZ3719 were warmly welcomed upon their arrival in Beijing and Bangkok, with special souvenirs from Thai Vietjet. The maiden flights were operated by A320 aircraft and carried almost full load of passengers.
“The new launch of Beijing will further connect between Thailand and China to respond to the visa exemption to facilitate travel and tourism. We have continuously launched our new services to China including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Beijing.
