Thai Vietjet has announced its latest direct routes connecting Udon Thani, one of northeast Thailand’s major cities, with Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Chiang Rai.
The Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Udon Thani route will operate daily from 25 November 2019. The flight will depart from Bangkok at 7.20 am and arrive in Udon Thani at 8.30 am, and the return flight will take off from Udon Thani at 9.10 am and arrive in Bangkok 10.20 am. An additional flight operating three days a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday will depart from Bangkok at 4.25 pm and arrive in Udon Thani at 5.35 pm.
The Chiang Rai – Udon Thani route will operate 3 days a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 26 November 2019. The flight will depart from Udon Thani at 6.05pm and arrive in Chiang Rai at 7.10pm, and the return flight will take off from Chiang Rai at 7.40 pm and arrive in Udon Thani at 8.45 pm. Passengers can look forward to convenient travels to Udon Thani from Bangkok and Chiang Rai within about an hour.
To celebrate the new routes, more than 10,000 promotional tickets from S$0 (*) will be available for ten days between 10 to 19 October 2019, during the golden hours between 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm (GMT+8). Tickets can be purchased on Vietjet’s website www.vietjetair.com and the “Vietjet Air” mobile app.
The promotion is applicable on all of Thai Vietjet’s routes from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Dalat, Da Nang (Vietnam) and Taichung (Taiwan), and all Thai domestic routes from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, including the Phuket – Chiang Rai and Udon Thani – Chiang Rai routes.

Udon Thani, a Northeastern province covering an area of 11,730 square kilometers in Thailand, is a prime business center with one of the largest expat populations in the nation.
