At the Changi Airline Awards (CAA) 2022 hosted by Changi Airport Group in Singapore on May 4, 2022, Thai Vietjet represented by Mr. Pinyot Pibulsonggram, Director of Commercial, was presented the ‘New Airline Award’ of the Changi Airline Award 2022 for commencing flight services to Changi Airport despite COVID-19, highlighting the airline’s contributions toward maintaining the resilience of the Singapore air hub during the pandemic.

Once the international travel restrictions in many countries have been lifted, we introduced many new international services, including the flights connecting Bangkok and Singapore. Regarding the New Airline Award, Thai Vietjet has accomplished and commenced the flight service in Singapore on April 28, 2022, when travel restrictions in both countries have been eased. In the early stage, the international flight service between Bangkok and Singapore will operate 3 flights per week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Further frequency of up to 5 flights/week every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting from June 2, 2022, and daily service will be added on June 16, 2022. Additionally, the airline will commence the direct service between Phuket and Singapore in early June 2022, offering passengers more convenient and affordable service, not only Thai people but also international tourists in the Asia-pacific region.
