We strongly believe that the resumed service, along with other new international services that we are continuously expanding, will positively contribute to the recovery of Thai tourism industry, and particularly international traffic to/from Thailand. It will also bridge people between two countries with a more convenient, flexible, affordable, yet hospitable service that Thai Viejet has well prepared to welcome them aboard”

Being the only carrier, which have operated most stable commercial service between Thailand – Vietnam over the pandemic period, Thai Vietjet is confident offering most connections and leading capacity in the market. Apart from upcoming Bangkok – Danang service, currently Thai Vietjet, in cooperation with Vietjet Group, operates flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Ho Chi Minh City of up to 6 flights a week. In addition, the airline has recently announced its new service connecting Bangkok and the Cambodian capital city of Phnom Penh, enhancing its expanding international flight network to meet demand of passengers in Asia-pacific region. In the coming times, the airline expects to expand its international flight network to many more destinations in the Asia-pacific region, including Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, China and more.

With recent decisions of reducing travel restrictions of removing Day 5 RT-PCR test & applying Covid insurance value of only US$20,000 (previously US$50,000) from 1st March 2022 in Thailand, and only 1 ATK/RT-PCR test on Day 1 and required Covid insurance value of only US$10,000 from 15th March 2022 in Vietnam, travel demand & traffic between the two countries is expected to recover gradually.

Danang is the largest city in central Vietnam, also the commercial and educational center of the region. It is known as the most popular destination in Vietnam for Thai travelers before Covid-19 pandemic, with the beautiful My Khe Beach, Hands of God, Dragon Bridge, and Marble Mountain.
