Thai Vietjet today welcomed its inaugural flight of the new cross-regional service from Phuket to Udon Thani, with a special performance by ‘Ann Oradee’.
Passengers on the flight VZ453 from Phuket International Airport were surprised with a lively performance by Thailand’s famous singer ‘Ann Oradee’, and also had a chance to win complimentary domestic air ticket from Thai Vietjet. Additionally, all passengers received complimentary alcohol spray as a souvenir of the event. The memorable flight was full of joy, excitement, and happiness from the moment the plane took off until it safely landed at Udon Thani International Airport, with a warm welcome by the presence of the honorable guests, including Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, the Governor of Udon Thani Province; Ms. Umaporn Pasuknirant, Deputy Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Udon Thani Office; Mr. Sawat Teerarattananukulchai, Senior President of Udon Thani Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Wanchai Anutarachatchawan, President of Udon Thani Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Ruangyuth Luong, Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association; and Mr. Anantachai Wannaphan, Deputy Director of Commercial, Thai Vietjet.

In early stage, the new cross-regional service Phuket – Udon Thani will operate 3 flights/week every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with the flight duration of 1 hour 55 minutes and the following flight schedule:

To celebrate the new cross-regional service from Phuket to Udon Thani, the airline launches a special campaign “New Route, New Experience”, offering special fares starting from THB449 (inclusive of taxes, fees, not inclusive of add-on services) for traveling on the airline’s domestic flight network. The promotional tickets are available for booking from now until February 21, 2022, with a travel period between February 18 – September 30, 2022, at www.vietjetair.com (may not available on public holidays, terms and conditions applied).
Currently, Thai Vietjet operates 14 Thailand domestic routes, including flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani, cross-regional flights including from Phuket to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Udon Thani, and direct flights from Hat Yai to Chiang Rai. The airline is also actively expanding its international flight network to many destinations across Asia-pacific, connecting Thailand with Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, Singapore, and other top destinations in the region.
