This initiative bridges TAT with noteworthy entities like the Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Association (TEATA), Thai Organic Consumer Association (TOCA), SiamRise Travel, FIND FOLK, and Golfdigg, not forgetting the invaluable involvement of local tourism communities.
Taking the lead are Chiang Mai and Phuket, each unrivalled in its offerings.
In the heart of Chiang Mai, the Mae Tha Community stands tall as a paragon of organic farming, having upheld its values for three successive generations. Travellers embarking on this journey will witness first-hand the community’s unwavering commitment to preserving nature. They are privy to the intricate processes that lead to the city’s organic produce reaching shop shelves and restaurant tables.
What’s more, culinary enthusiasts are in for a treat. Cooking classes are designed to introduce traditional dishes concocted from locally harvested ingredients. The pièce de résistance, however, is the ‘Chef’s Table with the PM2.5 Reduction Menu’, a sensory extravaganza that celebrates local produce.
