On October 4th 2019, General Manager, Cedric Besler and his teams from Novotel Phuket Phokeethra and ibis Styles Phuket City helped donate ice cream for the street procession rituals taking place at the famed Bang Liao shrine, recognised as one of the most popular places of worship on the island. This donation marked one of the ways the hotel employees got involved with the annual Vegetarian Festival.
As part of the celebrations, employees from Novotel Phuket Phokeethra and ibis Styles Phuket City donated ice cream during the procession, which was well received by all. This is just one example of how teams at both Accor properties continue to do their part in giving back to the island’s culturally diverse community.
