Trip.Com Partners Global Premium Hotels Limited To Support Daughters Of Tomorrow’s Beneficiaries

This International Women’s Day, Trip.com is partnering with Singapore-based hospitality group Global Premium Hotels Limited (GPHL) and Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) to support underprivileged women with safe, clean and comfortable temporary accommodation in their times of need.

From 8 March to 7 April 2022, Trip.com and GPHL are calling for public donations of specially discounted room nights for DOT’s beneficiaries who require temporary accommodation due to various reasons, including domestic abuse. These beneficiaries may choose to check into Fragrance Hotel – Balestier, ibis budget Singapore Joo Chiat or ibis budget Singapore Imperial.

GPHL has generously provided a special reduced rate of S$50 nett per room night for this campaign. The donation will cover the entire cost of the room stay for the beneficiaries, and DOT will liaise with the hotels on the date and requirements for the room bookings.

Fragrance Hotel Balestier – Superior Plus Twin ibis budget Singapore Imperial – Standard Twin “Trip.com Group is pleased to continue our relationship with Daughters Of Tomorrow through our International Women’s
Day-Pay It Forward campaign, and further our ongoing mission to raise awareness of underserved communities by galvanizing our strong network of partners and customers,“ says Ms Ru Yi, Regional General Manager at Trip.com.

“Convenience, comfort and safety for these beneficiaries are key considerations for us and through this collaboration with Global Premium Hotels Limited and Daughters Of Tomorrow, we hope to provide much-needed temporary shelter and rest to these underprivileged women during difficult times.”

This is Trip.com’s second campaign in conjunction with International Women’s Day 2022; it had earlier announced a partnership with Mount Faber Leisure Group and HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics) to support female migrant domestic workers (MDWs) with Cable Car Sky Passes.

Ms Wong Wei Shien, Head of Sales & Marketing at Global Premium Hotels Limited, says, “GPHL is committed to playing our part in caring for the community at large by working with, and supporting, beneficiaries and organisations such as Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT). We are grateful to Trip.com and DOT for embarking on this meaningful programme and partnering us to provide DOT’s beneficiaries with a safe environment on a temporary basis.”

Ms Cheryl Chen, Head of Fundraising and Events Management at Daughters Of Tomorrow, says, “Stable housing and a safe home environment are essential for a woman in her journey back to work. Without a secure place to return to, it would be impossible to sustain a livelihood or consider a new employment opportunity. We at Daughters Of Tomorrow are grateful to Trip.com, GPHL, and our kind donors for their support and generosity. Though this initiative may not provide a long-term solution, it is the first step – and a very significant one – in effecting change in the lives of our DOT women.”

This partnership is a continuation of Trip.com’s Pay It Forward campaign, which was first launched in 2020 to support local tourism businesses, charities and social service agencies. After 34 successful programmes, Trip.com remains committed to providing meaningful travel and lifestyle experiences for the less privileged members of the community.
