The new-age carrier Vietjet has received two more Airbus A321neo ACF aircraft on February 8, 2021, further expanding its young and dynamic fleet.

The two 240-seat aircraft were immediately cleaned and disinfected thoroughly as per regulations upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, ready to take off to meet the travelling peak demand during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The A321neo ACF line has young, modern designs with added innovations to the cabin monuments and seating capacity. These aircraft are also designed to be fuel-efficient and eco-friendly with a 50% reduction in emissions and noise reduction up to 75%, providing a smooth flying experience for all passengers.

According to Airbus, the A321neo ACF is the baseline for new long-range single-aisle jetliners such as the A321LR.

With the addition of two new aircraft added to the fleet, Vietjet continues to have one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the world. Its optimized operating costs have offered passengers opportunities to keep flying at a very low price.

The airline has recorded positive operating indexes, with load factor standing at over 80% while On-Time Performance (OTP) exceeds the globally-high at over 90%. Vietjet’s technical reliability rate is at 99.64%, achieving 7 out of 7 stars on safety. Also, Airlineratings has rated Vietjet as one of the safest and best low-cost airlines in the world in 2020.
