Volvo Car Thailand continues ongoing business by investing in a new large warehouse in Thailand, aiming to be a transportation hub for customers in the country and the ASEAN region.

Mr. Chris Wailes, Managing Director of Volvo Car (Thailand) Limited announced a joint venture to build a new warehouse covering a large area of 23,331 square meters, with an investment of 1,000 million baht in the area of Bang Na-Trat Road, Km. 23 in collaboration with WHA Corporation Public Company Limited.

Volvo’s new warehouse is Built-to-Suit Volvo Car Thailand’s warehouse management plan of establishing a hub for 4 key business units including

  • Distribution Center – a large logistics center which manages the Volvo car allocation as the center for managing the delivery of Volvo cars to Volvo dealers across the region.
  • For the first time, with the introduction of The Pre-Delivery Service (PDS), Volvo’s official car quality inspection service will build confidence in product quality before delivery.
  • Including the establishment of A Center Warehouse for managing Parts and Accessories for Volvo Vehicles by bringing the latest warehouse management technology to complement the full range of services for customers in both the country and across the ASEAN region.
  • Finally, with The New training center, managed by highly experienced professional trainers of customer service team, Volvo car (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Will experience the refreshed workshop, in the form of Volvo Personal Service (VPS) in the true Scandinavian sense will be available in Volvo service centers nationwide.
