Welcome Back Sunday Riviera Brunch at ALATi

ALATi restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok reopens the Sunday Riviera Brunch, featuring sumptuous dishes inspired by the diverse flavours of the entire Mediterranean region.

The Sunday Riviera Brunch features a fantastic selection of menus served in a semi-buffet style and with unlimited Ă  la carte dishes inspired by traditional recipes, ingredients and cooking techniques of countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea, such as Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

The brunch menu begins with a welcome unlimited seafood platter that includes La Friandise oysters, Atlantic lobster, Hokkaido snow crab, white prawns and black mussels, which will please every discerning palate and appetite. The second course comprises a classic lobster bisque with freshly whipped cream, served individually at each table.

The Mediterranean crudo embraces a wide selection of appetisers served in a buffet style, including salmon carpaccio, shaved fennel, pomegranate and dill sour cream; seared tuna and puttanesca sauce; salmon tartare with avocado; and cold-smoked Norwegian salmon served with traditional condiments.

The charcuterie selection includes Pata Negra 18 months: coppa; chorizo; Paris ham; homemade foie gras torchon; and duck rillettes, pickles and condiments.

The cheese and bread selections include Brie, Camembert, Tomme de Savoie, smoked scamorza, Gruyère and Manchego cheeses served with assorted nuts and dry fruits; honey and jams; fresh grapes; and homemade bread selections.

A live carving features the chef’s selection of the week, rotating one seasonal-fish and one roasted-meat menu. The fish menu includes whole snapper or whole salmon in salt crust, both baked in a Mediterranean style, while the meat menu includes lamb leg; Angus Picanha; Angus prime rib; glazed ham; or chicken or lamb shawarma.

The unlimited choice of à la carte main-course dishes includes wagyu beef medallion served with mashed potatoes and green pepper jus; New Zealand lamb chop served with Mediterranean herb crumble, carrot purée, pomegranate and molasses jus; seared tuna rossini served with spinach, black truffle and foie gras sauce; duck confit served with pumpkin and curcuma cream, mustard seed and rosemary jus; pan-fried duck foie gras served with grape compote, hazelnut and aged balsamic; and more.

Each Sunday Riviera Brunch also includes one chef’s-selection-of-the-week pass-around main-course menu, including seafood paella; lasagne; albóndigas; and hachis Parmentier or Kurobuta pork in milk sauce served at table, to supplement the choices on the menu.

This fascinating journey around the Mediterranean region ends with a selection of delicious chocolate-themed desserts served in a buffet style and à la carte style. The dessert corner includes lemon tart with chocolate-torched meringue, raspberry sauce and candied orange; tarte au fromage blanc with French-style baked cheesecake, soaked rum raisin and warm chocolate sauce; chocolate treat in a jar; and selections of ice cream and sorbet. The Sunday Choco Treat, featuring à la carte desserts, includes chocolate cream and raspberry yuzu gel with chocolate tuile; warm almond chocolate apple pie with chocolate sorbet and caramel sauce; and chocolate tiramisu with mascarpone cream, chocolate-soaked Savoiardi, shaved chocolate and cocoa powder. Complete your brunch with ALATi hot chocolate served with homemade marshmallow.
