Welcome the Golden Season with ‘Autumn Melodies Afternoon Tea’ at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok launches ‘Autumn Melodies Afternoon Tea’, representing a beautiful season worldly admired. These new items are portrayed in various colours and shapes, specifically in the tones of marigold orange and primrose yellow, to illustrate the transformation from the warm European summer to the gentle, cool winds of autumn.

Executive Pastry Chef Franck Istel’s appetising selection of sweet and savoury items are served in the hotel’s luxuriant Lobby Lounge, with the towering 14-metre-high ceiling and beautifully decorated with effervescent lamps and a flower centrepiece. The term ‘melodies’ invites all discerning palates to enjoy the autumn song lists of the renowned harpist Ms Tong-Juan Wang, whose performance lights up the atmosphere for all to enjoy during their afternoon tea session every Wednesday to Sunday.

The ‘Autumn Melodies Afternoon Tea’ showcases 14 flavourful delicacies appealing to all sweet and savoury lovers, with iconic favourite autumn ingredients, such as pumpkins, hazelnuts, pistachios, honey and lemon. It starts with the relishing ‘Mont Blanc’ chestnut purée in the form of vermicelli, topped with whipped cream; chocolate hazelnut ball, chocolate shortbread; half-sphere lemon lime cake; wild flower honey mousse, white chocolate ‘honeycomb’; and pistachio cherry madeleine. The savoury palette consists of quail egg and black truffle choux; salmon and dill rillettes cannoli; smoked duck and pumpkin mustard cream tartlet; foie gras and chicken mousse cannelé, berry compote, roasted hazelnut; and the mini taco prawn cocktail. This special edition comes with cauliflower panna cotta and ikura roe on the side.

The afternoon tea is not complete without Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s luscious scones, which come in three delectably classic flavours – vanilla, coffee and matcha green tea – served with homemade blood orange curd, clotted cream and strawberry vanilla jam.

The noble Tea Master Ging Nipaporn Hanwichai has delicately selected some exquisite custom Ronnefeldt tea to pair well with this golden afternoon tea launch.

The ‘Autumn Melodies Afternoon Tea’ is served daily from 21 September until 23 November 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs at the Lobby Lounge and Hanuman Bar, located on the ground floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
