The music platform Djooky who launched the first global online song contest in Asia, have announced its winners from the region; the result was determined by combining the prestigious jury vote and the public vote. Djooky Music Awards (DMA) is the first global online song contest to promote and develop musical talent worldwide. This year, the music company expanded to Asia and urged aspiring singers, songwriters, and producers to compete.
The winning musicians are:
- 1st Place Jumyr Kylysh from Kazakhstan
- 2nd Place Vibes from Chile
- 3rd Place Electric Vibe from Nigeria
More than 10,661 artists registered from over 120 countries in the Djooky Music Awards and over 1,606 songs were nominated this season. As for Asia, 317 songs were nominated; most of them were from Japan and received more than 69 nominations, while Kazakhstan received the most votes.
The company is endorsed and co-founded by Brian Malouf, an American multi-platinum producer who has worked with great artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Queen, Pearl Jam, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder, to name a few. Musicians can also keep up with the competition in the upcoming next season.
