Ms.Suporn Wattanavekin (right), Chairman of AEON Thailand Foundation, donated funds worth of 150,000 baht to the Urban Disease Control and Prevention Foundation (UDCF) to support the operations at the Urban Institute for Disease Prevention and Control, Department of Disease Control. The fund will be used towards assisting officers who operate in proactive screen missions and are at high risk of infection as well as to support the research and development for the control of the COVID-19 situation. The donation was received by Dr. Preecha Prempree (3rd from left), Deputy Director General, the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health and Dr. Vichan Pawun (2nd from left), MD, MPH, FETP Director. As the COVID-19 spreads, AEON Thailand Foundation continues to support Thailand’s front-line heath authorities to care for patients and control the spread.
