Zuma’s celebrated pop-up returns to Anantara Layan Phuket Resort from 16 November 2023 to April 2024, marking another chapter of this much-anticipated annual event. First launched in 2016, the pop-up’s popularity has surged year after year, attracting not only food enthusiasts but also guests with a taste for unparalleled dining experiences in uniquely vibrant settings.
Situated within The Beach House, already a popular destination with its Roof Top, Breeze restaurant and bar, sleek infinity pool, day beds, and resident DJ, Zuma Phuket, like all Zuma locations, features a sushi bar and open robata grill kitchen at its heart, infusing the whole space with the dynamic energy of the chefs at work. Set against the captivating blues of the Andaman Sea, Zuma Phuket seamlessly blends Japanese artistry with the blissful charm of seaside serenity, creating an unforgettable memory with guests.
Zuma offers a dining experience that is authentic but contemporary. For this season, the restaurant have curated a signature Daikoku tasting menu and a premium Daikoku tasting menu, offering a culinary journey through Zuma’s finest dishes. Highlights include Thinly Sliced Sea Bass with Yuzu, Truffle Oil and Salmon Roe, Wagyu Gyoza with Yuzu Truffle Dip, Chef’s Selection Sushi and Sashimi, Spicy Beef Tenderloin with Sesame, Red Chili and Sweet Soy, Chilean Sea Bass with Green Chili Ginger Dressing and Japanese A4 Wagyu Sirloin with Truffle Sauce and Chili Ponzu. Each tasting menu journey concludes with a deluxe dessert platter, rounding off the gastronomic adventure on a sweet note.
Zuma Sunday brunch is available from 12pm to 3pm, offering an elegant yet relaxed dining experience perfect for social or family gatherings. Guests can choose from two Baikingu menus: a food only selection priced at THB 3,500 per person or a more indulgent food and champagne combination for THB 4,900 per person. The brunch begins with an array of first-course dishes served to table for guests to share. These include dishes such as Fried Softshell Crab with Wasabi Mayonnaise, Sweet Potato with Teriyaki Glaze and Sesame, Grilled Chicken Wings with Sea Salt and Lime as well as a range of sashimi, nigiri and maki. Guests have a choice of one main course per person. Options range from Barley Miso Marinated Chicken Oven Roasted on Cedar Wood, Glazed Spicy Pork Ribs with Hoisin Sauce and Teriyaki Salmon Filet with Pickled Cucumber and more. The meal is completed with a deluxe dessert platter to be shared.
