In celebration of National Children’s Day, Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale lifestyle brand of Minor Hotels, recently brought happiness and heartfelt support to the young ones at The Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Center, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society. As part of the brand’s wider Dollars for Deeds CSR initiative, Executives and members of the Minor and Avani teams made a heartwarming visit to the hospital’s Center for Medical Services, offering vibrant Avani gift bags brimming with delightful surprises for the children.
Dollars for Deeds was first introduced almost a decade ago by Anantara Hotels & Resorts, also part of Minor Hotels. The CSR programme supports a range of projects and organisations from across the globe and helps to raise much needed funds for community driven and environmental causes. The initiative empowers guests to support various worthy
causes, encouraging them to contribute one dollar per night of their stay, with parent company Minor Hotels matching each donation dollar for dollar.
In addition to two key conservation projects, each of the eleven Avani properties in Thailand is contributing to the Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Center. Established in 1986, the center stands as a beacon of comprehensive care offering free medical services to children across Thailand with craniofacial abnormalities. Since its inception, the center has extended its healing touch to over 3,000 patients with challenges related to facial and head disorders, underscoring its dedication to making a transformative impact through compassion and support.
