One Bangkok has become Thailand’s first real estate project to achieve Platinum WiredScore certification, which is a testament to the project’s commitment to delivering the highest level of digital connectivity and intelligent building technologies.
WiredScore is a global company that provides certification for digital connectivity and smart building technologies. Since its establishment in 2013, the company has certified numerous buildings worldwide, including Empire State Building in the United States, Two Taikoo Place in Hong Kong, International Towers and 101 Collins Street in Australia, 22 Bishopsgate in England, Hammerbrooklyn in Germany, and Skylight Madrid in Spain.
The One Bangkok district was designed to meet the WiredScore and SmartScore standards, ensuring tenants that the stability of digital connectivity fully supports their businesses. The project has been developed with the aim of setting new benchmarks for the real estate industry and elevating Bangkok to become one of the world’s great metropolises.
Lim Hua Tiong, the CEO of One Bangkok, expressed his delight at the Platinum WiredScore certification, stating that the project actively seeks to incorporate best-in-class technologies and solutions into its buildings. During the official launch of WiredScore in Thailand, Lim Hua Tiong presented his vision at a roundtable forum on “Smart Building Investments for Thailand 4.0” as an Executive of One Bangkok. He explained that One Bangkok aims to offer an experience beyond the expectations of its tenants and customers, providing them with robust digital connectivity and smart technologies to reassure them that the project’s technology infrastructure is future-proof and goes beyond the standards.
According to a survey by the Gensler Research Institute on worker satisfaction, innovative technologies significantly impact workers. People who work in office buildings equipped with the latest technologies reported more cases of “great working experience” than those working in office buildings without smart capabilities by 3.7 times. This is why digital connectivity and intelligent services that meet world-class standards are essential factors in attracting talents with high potential to become office building tenants and occupants.
The One Bangkok project will be the most significant integrated development in the central business district, with an investment value of over THB120 billion on the total land area of 108 rai. When fully completed, the project will include five premium Grade A office towers, four distinct retail precincts, five luxury and lifestyle hotels, and three luxury residential towers, all operating under the core values of people-centric, sustainability, and smart city living. The project’s first phase is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024.
