Bangkok’s KROMO Sparks Sukhumvit with Curio Debut

This partnership with SC Asset Corporation PCL introduces a luxurious addition to Bangkok’s prestigious Sukhumvit shopping district. Scheduled to open its doors at the end of 2024, KROMO will join Hilton’s impressive Thai portfolio, which already boasts 13 properties across five brands, with nine more anticipated.

Hilton’s Senior Vice President of Development for Asia Pacific, Clarence Tan expressed his excitement about the venture. “Thailand remains a top-tier global destination, with Bangkok proudly holding the title of the world’s most visited city,” he said. “Introducing Thailand’s first Curio Collection signifies our commitment to leveraging our diverse brand portfolio to foster growth in key markets. We are eager to deliver authentic, unforgettable experiences to lifestyle travellers.”

Curio Collection by Hilton stands out in the hospitality industry with its unique approach. Each hotel in this global portfolio offers a distinctive story inspired by its location’s cultural and historical essence. This brand not only promises exceptional, bespoke guest experiences but also honours the distinctiveness of each property. The KROMO hotel, inspired by the vibrancy of colour (‘chroma’), aims to dazzle guests with its vivid design and spirited ambience.

Strategically positioned along Sukhumvit’s bustling retail stretch, KROMO benefits from its proximity to major shopping centres such as Emporium, EmQuartier, and EmSphere. It is also conveniently close to the Phrom Phong and Asoke Skytrain stations, making it an ideal spot for those looking to explore the city or unwind at nearby Benchasiri Park.

Alexandra Jaritz, Senior Vice President of Brand Management at Hilton Asia Pacific, highlighted the personalized experience that awaits guests. “Each Curio Collection hotel is a destination in its own right, offering independent, curated services that resonate with travelers seeking unique and meaningful engagements,” she explained. “KROMO is set to redefine the hospitality landscape in Bangkok with its carefully crafted experiences and grand sense of arrival.”

KROMO will feature 306 elegantly designed rooms and suites, reflecting the rich tapestry of Thai culture. The property will also boast three world-class dining venues, a fitness centre, and indoor and outdoor pools, ensuring a stay that combines luxury and comfort.

Moreover, KROMO will be incorporated into the Hilton Honors program, offering guests exclusive benefits when booking directly through the hotel’s website.
