Campari Honours Milano with Iconic Bottle Design & Spectacular Drone Show

Campari 1In a stunning tribute to its hometown, Campari has launched a new bottle design inspired by the city of Milano. The sleek and minimalist design of the bottle pays homage to the city’s contemporary fashion and design, reflecting the bond between the brand and its hometown since 1860. The direction of the lines on the bottle symbolizes the journey of the Aperitivo ritual from Milano to the rest of the world, leading the eye to the city’s name in the centre of the bottle.

To mark the launch of the new bottle, Campari will host the largest drone show ever seen in Europe on May 4th and 5th. The display will light up the Milanese skyline with the unmistakable Campari Red, bringing the iconic Milanese symbols to life through spectacular illuminations. The display will last 12 minutes and occur in Sempione Park, which can be viewed from across the city.

The new Campari bottle design and the drone show to pay tribute to the city’s resourcefulness and excitement, which deeply bind it to the spirit of the Campari brand. The harmonious union of two icons, Campari and Milano, has continued for more than 160 years, reflecting the very essence of Campari. The city combines modern, historical, classical, pioneering, entrepreneurial, and enjoyable. It can encompass creative souls of the most diverse facets, from the world of design to that of art and cinema.

Campari’s love for the city comes to fruition through its support of the City of Milano and the reopening project of the historic Cinema Orchidea located on Via Terraggio, a few meters from the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio. After over 60 years of service and its definitive closure in 2009, it will again become an important centre as an audiovisual and cultural reference point. Campari, which has always chosen film as a means of communication used to express the essence of the brand and its Red Passion, is committed to establishing new projects with a high social impact and supporting existing ones.

The brand’s bond with the city will also be celebrated through the special cocktail list of the Camparino in Galleria, the famous Milanese venue founded in 1915 by Davide Campari, an icon overlooking Piazza Duomo symbol of the Milanese aperitif par excellence.

Overall, Campari’s tribute to Milano through its new bottle design and the largest drone show in Europe is a testament to the bond between the brand and its hometown for over 160 years. The special tribute reflects the city’s resourcefulness and excitement and pays homage to its creative souls and vibrant cultural scene.
