Chiva-Som Offers Complimentary Online Wellness Classes

A pioneer in transformative wellness practices, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand, is utilizing its wealth of wellness resources to provide complimentary online wellness classes to the public. During this time of continued uncertainty, the wellness resort believes that health and wellbeing is of utmost importance and will continue to provide support and encourage individuals to maintain wellness goals during this unprecedented time.

The classes include holistic wellness talks and practices by Chiva-Som’s wellness experts and recommended physical movement and exercises by their fitness practitioners. The sessions are presented in English at 15:00 (GMT+7) on the scheduled dates and have a limit of up to 10 participants per class.

16th September:  Ways to improve your gut health and mood by Renee Grandi, ND, Dip CN

This online webinar will give you knowledge in understanding potential underlying factors for mood and the vital synergistic relationship that gut health and mental health share.  Here you’ll identify what contributes to poor gut health, how it affects your mood and how it can be improved with natural health interventions such as diet, herbal supplements and lifestyle interventions.

30th September: Neurodynamic nerve stretching exercise

Neurodynamic stretching combines the unique style and fluid movements of traditional Thai dancing to create a Neurodynamic Nerve Exercise. This session provides the benefits of Neurodynamic stretching, a series of postures and movements that enhance mobility and flexibility, with the benefits of Thai dancing, which has been shown through studies to improve nerve function, muscle power, and enhance blood circulation.

This is a great class for individuals who are interested in a simple, enjoyable, and innovative way of engaging in the ancient art of Thai dancing while gaining the benefits of enhanced flexibility, decreased pain, and improved muscle tension.

1st October: Pilates on Mat

 The Pilates on Mat class incorporates all the key principles of Pilates such as postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility.  This class is a low-impact exercise that benefits all levels of ability.

15th October: How to promote a healthy cardiovascular system by Renee, ND, Dip CN

This online webinar will give you the fundamentals to take the reins of your cardiovascular health.  Here Renee will cover how to naturally support blood pressure, cholesterol and vascular integrity with nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle interventions.
