Discover authentic Indian spice at Savio, Chatrium Grand Bangkok’s stylish international dining destination

Chatrium Grand Bangkok, the new icon of luxury hospitality in the heart of Siam, is inviting diners to savour the authentic flavours, fragrances and spices of India at Savio, its stylish and social all-day dining destination.

Every day, a talented team of chefs creates a spectacular selection of dishes from around the world at vibrant live stations and open kitchens. A key element of this cosmopolitan concept is Indian cuisine, and Savio is delighted to introduce Chef Pravin Baban Gayke, an Indian culinary master who will bring these vibrant dishes to life with classical cooking techniques and contemporary flair.

Chef Pravin is an expert in the art of Indian cuisine, having spent the last 14 years working in top restaurants in Thailand and his native India. Having commenced his career as a Commis Chef at a prominent hotel in the city of Pune, he went in to specialise in Indian cuisine at the prestigious Hyatt Pune hotel. Moving to Thailand in 2014, Chef Pravin was Chef de Partie at Indian Host, the acclaimed

Indian restaurant in Bangkok, before rejoining the hotel sector with the famous Amari Watergate Hotel. Most recently, he served as Indian Sous Chef at Angsana Laguna Phuket.

At Savio, Chef Pravin will craft a collection of Indian dishes, including fresh seafood, prime meats and Indian breads cooked in a traditional tandoor oven. Specialties include Tandoori Prawns (Goa-style marinated banana prawns with coconut chutney), Chicken Tikka Masala (marinated chicken breast in a rich masala sauce, cashew nuts and coriander), and Tandoori Gobi & Mushrooms (a Hyderabad “baingan” with peanuts and tamarind sauce). Diners will also be treated to Chef Pravin’s Thali of the Day, a mouth-watering selection of small dishes and dips, served with rice, poppadums and chutneys.

These delectable Indian dishes can be accompanied by a wide range of flavours from around the world, including Thai classics, pan-Asian cuisine, world-class Western fare and more.
