e-Racing Gamers Invited To Compete For The Opportunity To Represent Thailand In The ‘Michelin Asia Cup Powered By Gran Turismo’

Michelin, the world’s leading tyre company, invites e-racing gamers to compete for the opportunity to represent Thailand in the online e-racing event, entitled ‘Michelin Asia Cup Powered by Gran Turismo’; and engage in further battles for a championship with gamers from three other countries – namely Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia.

The Grand Prize Winner is entitled to a free round-trip ticket plus accommodation, to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience of exploring Michelin’s world of passion for motorsports and mobility at the ‘Michelin Passion Experience’ event, to be held this year at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The First Runner-Up is entitled to a set of 4 tyres; while the Second Runner-Up is entitled to a fuel card worth 15,000 Baht. Registration runs from now until 8 July. The first 500 registered gamers are each entitled to receive a 200-Baht cash coupon for use at all Lotus’s branches. 

Michelin Asia Cup Powered by Gran Turismo is the e-racing competition of the highly realistic ‘Gran Turismo’ platform on PlayStation 4 in Sport mode. Registered gamers are required to submit their best time to the Qualifying Round from 11-15 July 2022. Six gamers with the best lap time will be announced on 20 July 2022 to represent Thailand in the Semi-Finals, competing with gamers from another three participating countries. A total of 24 gamers (6 gamers from 4 countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia) will be divided in two groups, each of which consists of 12 gamers. The eligible Grand Prize Winner must have a Driving License or a Race License, valid at least until 9 September 2022.
