Warm Comforting Food Punjab Grill BangkokWe tried the tasting menu at Punjab Grill, a reputed name in the dining scene in Bangkok. Chef Bharath’s seasonal tasting menu is creative and puts a new perspective on Indian food. Portions were good, and we enjoyed the presentation and plating. Prawn & chicken were our favourites. The palate cleanser was exciting, and a vegetarian menu was available, too.

An enjoyable evening in an elegant setting. We appreciate the warm yellow colours, and it feels very palace-like. Easy to park right in front of the hotel. The restaurant has live music every night (except Monday). Punjab Grill Bangkok commands a total space of 280 square meters, including the bar and lounge, and has a seating capacity of 70 guests.

From the main menu, signature dishes are ‘Avocado Papdi Chaat’ (avocado tossed with sweet and spicy chutneys and marinated cherry tomatoes and served in flour roll cones), ‘Tawa Scallops’ (pan-seared, spiced king scallops, served with saffron-scented Tandoori cauliflower puree and topped with cauliflower fritters) and ‘Tandoori Jhinga’(tiger prawns scented with carom seed and char-grilled in a tandoori oven, served with mint and coriander chutney).

The menu at Punjab Grill Bangkok has been designed by Chef Bharath Bhat, who brings with him a wealth of experience from 5-star hotels and resorts such as Grosvenor House Dubai, Armani Hotels, St. Regis, Le Meridien and Alila Resorts.

The restaurant is also very convenient in terms of location, as Sukhumvit Soi 13 can be accessed by both Nana and Asoke BTS stations.
