IGNIV Bangkok presents a 2-night special dinner, showcasing Modern European and Vietnamese flavors co-created by the collective talents of chefs from IGNIV Bangkok and Executive Chef Hoang Tung of Å by TUNG, one of the first fine dining restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This unique culinary collaboration will be hosted at IGNIV Bangkok from December 3–4, 2023.
This dinner is a successful guest chef series following a recent appearance by IGNIV’s Head Chef David Hartwig and Sous Chef and Pastry Chef Arne Riehn at Å by TUNG in August. These exciting evenings will display a perfect combination of seasonal flavors and culinary artistry.
“Chef Tung is an amazing chef leading the tasting menu concept in Vietnam. We experienced great synergy during our time at his restaurant and are excited to reciprocate by inviting him to our nest for a collaboration that will impress our regular guests,” says David Hartwig, Head Chef of IGNIV Bangkok.
In 2021, Chef Tung became the youngest Vietnamese chef to be ranked in the prestigious Top 100 of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. The following year, he was recognized by Forbes Vietnam 30 under 30 list for his pioneering work redefining the culinary landscape in the country and additionally named Chef of the Year at the Vietnam Restaurant & Bar Awards. Recognized in the inaugural edition of Vietnam’s Michelin Guide 2023, Å by TUNG is a homage to Northern Europe, where Executive Chef Tung’s culinary passion flourished.

The IGNIV Bangkok X Å by TUNG collaboration dinner is presented on Sunday, December 3, and Monday, December 4, 2023, for dinner in three rounds; 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:30 PM at THB 5,500 ++ per person.
