Great Wall Motor continues to accomplish its mission as a mobility and logistics partner of APEC 2022 by handing over its smart technology electric vehicle, the All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV, to accommodate APEC delegates’ transportation.
This strengthens Great Wall Motor’s aspiration of becoming an xEV leader in Thailand and cooperating with all sectors to enhance Thailand’s image on the global stage. This goal includes driving the country’s economy in the transition to becoming an EV society in a concrete and sustainable way.
The APEC 2022 vehicle handover ceremony was attended by Ambassador Thanatip Upatising, Chief of APEC 2022 Task Force, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as consignee of ten All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV vehicles from Mr. Elliot Zhang, President ASEAN of Great Wall Motor, at GWM Partner Store ATT U PARK.

The All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV was the first SUV vehicle from HAVAL that Great Wall Motor introduced and brought to the Thai market. The vehicle’s specifications are outstanding, with 1.5 liter Turbo engine performance, generating up to 243 horsepower when working with the electric motor, and maximum torque of 530 Nm, packed with plenty of smart driving technology together with a spacious cockpit and various facilities. The All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV is tremendously popular, retaining the SUV segment leadership for six consecutive months (until the end of June 2022) after its official launch in June 2021. Great Wall Motor has delivered 4,859 All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUVs to customers.
The All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV will be used to accommodate APEC delegate transportation, facilitating those participating in the 3rd APEC Senior Officials Meeting and its Related Meetings: SOM3 in Chiang Mai from 16-31 August 2022 and APEC Economic Leaders’ Week: AELW at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Bangkok, between 14 and 19 November 2022. Great Wall Motor will provide All New HAVAL JOLION Hybrid SUVs to promote and accommodate the delegates’ transportation.
