Great Wall Motor Thanks Thai Fans for Tremendous Welcome of Sporty ORA Good Cat GT, Achieving All 500 Bookings in 58 Minutes!

Great Wall Motor (GWM) continues to fuel confidence in EVs in Thailand with the spectacular achievement of 500 bookings (with 10,000 baht deposits) for the ORA Good Cat GT within 58 minutes of its reservation period going live on the GWM app and at www.gwm.co.th on 29 June at 20.00 hrs.

The successful opening emphasizes Thais’ interest in eco-friendly electric vehicles, as well as their unwavering trust in GWM products and services as the company seeks to become Thailand’s xEV leader.

GWM announced the listed price of the ORA Good Cat GT in Thailand as 1,549,000 baht. With the government’s EV support policies and subsidies, this price is reduced to 1,286,000 baht. Reservations of the first 500 units were set to be open from 29 June at 20.00 hrs. until 29 July at 23.59 hrs. but due to tremendous consumer interest, the 500 available vehicles were reserved within a 58-minute period. GWM will deliver the first batch of ORA Good Cat GT vehicles from November 2022 onwards.

ORA Good Cat GT is a 100% Battery Electric Vehicle, equipped with outstanding design, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional performance with a maximum power of 171 PS (126 kW) and maximum torque of 250 Nm. It features a carbon-fiber grille at its front and a stylish GT-inscribed spoiler at the rear, along with 18″ two-tone alloy wheels and red disc-brake calipers. Detailed in a unique red and black color scheme, its interior comes with advanced comfort and convenience, including driver seats with memory and welcome seat systems, electric massage seats, auto air ventilation for driver and front passenger seats, and a hands-free electric tailgate.
