ViMUT Hospital, a leading private hospital situated in the heart of Bangkok, is solidifying its position as Thailand’s trusted healthcare provider by launching the impactful “ViMUT Healthy 50 Plus” campaign. This initiative serves as a cornerstone of the hospital’s updated business plan, specifically tailored to address the healthcare requirements of an aging society. With a steadfast commitment to a comprehensive and integrated care approach, ViMUT Hospital strives to deliver holistic healthcare services that encompass disease prevention, accurate diagnostics, health monitoring, and effective treatment.

Anticipating a 30% rise in customers aged 50 and above following the campaign’s launch, ViMUT Hospital is steadfast in its commitment to assist Thai society in preparing for the transition into a super-aged society by 2031, as projected by the Ministry of Public Health. To achieve this objective, ViMUT Hospital is fully prepared to provide healthcare services that adhere to international standards, featuring a team of highly experienced medical specialists and innovative healthcare technologies. The hospital’s specialized centers are well-equipped to address the increasing prevalence of chronic and complex diseases. Additionally, ViMUT Hospital aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular health checkups, enabling timely treatment and leading to reduced costs, minimized losses, and an improved quality of life for elderly patients and their families.

Dr. Somsak Akksilp, Chief Executive Officer of ViMUT Hospital Holding Company Limited, “ViMUT Hospital is dedicated to continuously studying public health trends in Thailand in order to enhance our comprehensive healthcare services and cater to the evolving needs of Thai society and beyond. It is widely recognized that Thailand entered a fully aged society in 2022 and is actively preparing to transition into a super-aged society by 2031, where approximately one-third of the population will be aged 60 or above. These significant demographic shifts necessitate the development of a more inclusive healthcare ecosystem. Consequently, businesses related to elderly care are experiencing steady growth. TTB Analytics has projected that the market value of elderly care centers will reach 20 billion baht by 2033, aligning with the entrance of the Generation X population into the elderly society.”

“The ‘ViMUT Healthy 50 Plus’ campaign is dedicated to prioritizing the health and well-being of individuals of all ages, with a particular focus on the elderly, enabling them to enjoy a higher quality of life in a sustainable manner. Guided by the slogan ‘Higher Level of Exceptional Care,’ our aim is to actively contribute to Thailand’s smooth transition into an aged society. To achieve this, we continuously refine our long-term service plan to encompass all market needs, emphasizing the acceleration of elderly care while catering to the comprehensive needs of every family member. In addition to our commitment to elderly care, ViMUT Hospital also strives to position Thailand as a prominent hub for the medical industry in Asia,” declared Dr. Somsak Akksilp.

Dr. Somboon Tosborvorn, ViMUT Hospital Director, discussed the development of a health ecosystem, emphasizing the need for collaboration and preparation across all sectors in the face of Thailand’s transition into an aging society. He stated, “Patient Care now extends beyond hospitals, presenting us with a significant challenge. As a leader in seamless and comprehensive care, ViMUT Hospital’s long-term plan involves establishing a health ecosystem that reaches a broader population. This includes the establishment of health clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing centers, and home health care services in the Pruksa’s projects. Our goal is to create a healthy community with services tailored to meet the needs and lifestyles of our customers.”

Dr. Somboon further explained that ViMUT Hospital collaborates with medical schools, partner hospitals, insurance companies, and academies to raise health awareness and expand service coverage. He added, “The hospital boasts a diverse team of specialist doctors, including those in family medicine and geriatric medicine, to address complex diseases. ViMUT Hospital offers general health check-ups, specialized examinations, accurate diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive post-treatment care.”
