“IGNIV Bangkok Unveils New Summer Menu”

IGNIV Bangkok (1 Michelin Star) presents a tribute to the essence of the sun-drenched season, where freshness reigns supreme and flavors burst forth with vibrant intensity, with a new Summer Menu, featuring 19 handcrafted dishes in a sharing experience, available from June to August 2024.

Designed to evoke the joy of dining in this spirited season, the IGNIV Summer Menu, a harmonization between Swiss flair and local ingredients, highlights dishes such as Wagyu Short Ribs—Salsa Verde—Grillgemüse, crafted to be light, refreshing, and delightfully satisfying, Eggplant—Pomegranate—Sesame and Raviolo—Vegetables—Saffron.  In creating IGNIV’s seasonal menus, both Head Chef David Hartwig and Chef Arne Riehn draw an inspiration from their own vivid joyful moments in the summer, including an outdoor barbecue and farm produce in season during these months.

“A summer palate is smoky, crisp, light and acidic with fun and comforting food. Freshness and lightness are the heroes of the season,” says Chef David Hartwig. To me,” adds the co-creator Chef Arne Riehn, “The summer is about fresh fruits, salads, and light refreshing flavors and textures.”

Each Summer Menu dish features fresh vegetables and fruits harvested at their prime, including Arctic Charr—Orange Beurre Blanc—CeleryLangoustine—Mango—Citrus, and for dessert, Fig—Hazelnut—Rosemary, Peach—Passionfruit—Milch Reis; and Soufflé.

From this summer onwards, IGNIV Bangkok’s most popular dishes guests always ask for, such as Chicken Nuggets served as a set with condiments, Beef Tartare—Potato—Capers and Cheese Fondue, a Swiss culinary tradition, featuring a creamy blend of Gruyère, Appenzeller, and Vacherin Swiss cheese, are also available in the add-on signature section on the sharing menu.

Towards the end of the multi-course gastronomic journey, guests enjoy a choice of fruit jellies, handcrafted chocolate bonbons, and other delights from IGNIV’s signature Candy Store to enjoy with coffee or tea, or to take home.

Setting itself apart from other fine dining establishments, the experience at IGNIV is warm, cozy and engaging. Start a culinary journey at the kitchen counter, where welcome snacks are served and guests enjoy the interaction with chefs. Then, move on to your table to appreciate the rest of the meal, with short visits from chefs and service team members to share the stories behind each dish through the entire sharing experience.

The Summer Menu at IGNIV Bangkok is available daily for dinner from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, last order at 8:30 PM for THB 5,500++ per person from June 1 to August 31, 2024. Lunch Break is also available on Mondays to Fridays from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, last order at 1:30 PM. A vegan, vegetarian, a la carte, or kids menu is available to cater to dietary requirements and families.
