IKEA worked with Thai fashion designers Greyhound Original to develop SAMMANKOPPLA, a limited collection of products that blends Bangkok street style with our home furnishing expertise. It’s further inspired by recycling, reusing, and creative re-purposing processes, and has been designed to be multifunctional and affordable – making it ideal for use by people all over the world.
The SAMMANKOPPLA Collection features more than 20 products, including a chair cover in the shape of a hoodie, a triangle Thai pillow, an LED multi-use lighting inspired by reusing an old plastic container, room divider, hat and coat stand, shelving unit, cushion, flatwoven rug partly made with PET bottles, mug, bowl, laptop case and a carrier bag that takes the familiar shape of IKEA’s iconic FRAKTA bag.
