Lenovo’s New GM: Leading Thailand & Indochina!

Lenovo today announced the appointment of Woraphot Thavornwan as a General Manager for Thailand and Rest of Indochina. Reporting to Matt Codrington, Regional General Manager of Lenovo Greater Asia Pacific, Woraphot will oversee daily business operation in Thailand and the rest of Indochina. He will also continue to strengthen a market leading commercial business, drive substantial growth in the consumer and retail space in Thailand and build a stronger brand presence across the rest of the markets. Woraphot succeeds Thaneth Angkasirisan, who will take up the role of Key Account Business Lead for Lenovo Greater Asia Pacific region.

Reflecting on his new role, Woraphot remarked, “Continued success in a market like Thailand and bolstering our brand presence across the broader Indochina region will be critical in sustaining Lenovo leadership position, and I look forward to building on the great work of our deep, talented team. I am confident we will continue to build on our momentum in this region.”

Prior to the appointment, Woraphot was a Director of Consumer Business for Lenovo Central Asia Pacific Region, covering ASEAN, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Korea where he was responsible for driving growth across Lenovo’s expanding portfolio from PC / laptops, tablets, AR/VR, smartphones and smart devices.

Woraphot joined Lenovo in 2020 as Consumer Division Head for Thailand, leading the key account managers dedicated to consumer and retail business. He was also heading the overall business in Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia as General Manager.
