Already making waves across Bangkok with its unorthodox entertainment offerings for the adventurous, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is now kicking off its regular programming with a bang on August 31^st 2022 at Sky Beach.

The Standard’s Payday Party will take place monthly showcasing the country’s most exciting entertainers and musicians, fueled by a generous Happy Hour offering.

Known for its finely-tuned social programming, The Standard is an expert in curating standout experiences that bring the community together. With its Payday Party and other after-dark events at Sky Beach, brand loyalists will find the familiar yet exciting mix of local and global, both on stage and in beverage curation. The highest rooftop bar in Thailand, Sky Beach is perched on the 78^th floor of King Power Mahanakhon, serving up 360 views of the skyline and drinks from one of Thailand’s most celebrated mixologists.

Kicking off the proceedings at 6.00pm on August 31^st 2022 is Tiger Drum delivering a riotous percussion performance in full traditional attire, with a live gig from VENN, a Thai alternative-folk band, facilitating a day-to-night transition in a relaxed sunset-backed style followed by back-to-back DJ sets till late.

The Payday Party offer – a generously long happy hour with BUY 1, GET 1 FREE on selected drinks — will run from 6.30pm till 10.00pm. Tipples are curated by the property’s beverage manager Milk Thanaworachayakit and range from fruity and refreshing to strong and sultry, hitting all the right notes whether the crowd’s in the mood to boogie or chill.

To get to Sky Beach before 7.00pm, guests can get their tickets at the King Power Mahanakhon ticketing center for THB 880 per person. After 7.00pm, a cover charge of THB 500 per person will apply, which can be then used as a credit to enjoy any items on Sky Beach menu, but cannot be used in conjunction with Happy Hour. At this time, Sky Beach does not accept reservations.
