Marriott Bonvoy Brings More Distinct Experiences To Vietnam

Owned by Vinpearl, one of Vietnam’s largest hospitality and leisure chains, the new openings increase Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio in the country by 60 percent, offering travellers more opportunities to explore and immerse themselves in the destination.

From the bustling Ho Chi Minh City to the picturesque Phu Quoc and Danang, Can Tho in the Mekong Delta, the charming northern city of Lang Son, and the important port city of Hai Phong, the new openings provide more choices for travellers when they explore the beautiful country. The six hotels joining Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio are Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection; Danang Marriott Resort & Spa; Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort; Sheraton Hai Phong; Sheraton Can Tho; and Four Points by Sheraton Lang Son.

Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection

Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection marks the brand’s debut in Vietnam, joining a dynamic collection of over 265 independent properties around the globe, which have been curated for their distinct perspective on design and hospitality. The 223-room hotel is set high up in a gleaming 461-meter tower on the banks of the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City. Commencing from the 48th floor of the tallest building in the country, Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection is the highest hotel in Vietnam, offering guest experiences remarkably unlike anything else. Attracting global travellers and locals alike, the hotel offers three exceptional and elevated dining experiences including an all-day dining restaurant with panoramic views of the entire Saigon Skyline, a pool bar featuring the tallest infinity pool in the city, and an elegant lobby lounge. Additional amenities include 12 inspiring meeting spaces for corporate and social events, a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, and an Akoya Spa.

Danang Marriott Resort & Spa

Known for its tranquil beaches, majestic Marble Mountain, and many bridges over the breathtaking Han River, Danang is widely recognized as one of Vietnam’s most livable cities – traditional yet dynamic. Situated on Non Nuoc Beach, close to downtown Danang, Danang Marriott Resort & Spa is the first Marriott Hotels property in Vietnam, bringing the brand’s renowned hospitality and elevated experience to the country. The beachfront resort features 200 modern and thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites as well as 39 spacious villas.  Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort

Phu Quoc is the largest natural island in Vietnam and Thailand Bay. The beach on the island has an endless white-sand coast, turquoise blue waters, diverse marine life, and a pristine forest possessing the most species-rich vegetation. The 500-room beachfront resort is situated on the west coast of Phu Quoc, an emerging tourism hotspot. Sheraton Hai Phong is located in the tallest building in the city and is set to become one of the city’s top choices for business and leisure travellers, and a major hub for conferences and events in the heart of Vietnam’s largest port city. The property features 362 sophisticated guest rooms and suites, in addition to three dining outlets including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty Chinese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine, and a lobby lounge offering coffees and light bites. Sheraton Can Tho

Located in the heart of the Mekong Delta River, Can Tho is the largest city in the Western region and is recognized as the political, cultural, and transportation centre of the Mekong Delta. Travellers to Can Tho can enjoy lush greeneries, beautiful fruit gardens, historical relics, and the opportunity to immerse in the life of the local people, through visiting ancient homes and participating in the city’s famously robust floating markets. Situated in the heart of the city surrounded by multiple attractions, Sheraton Can Tho is set to be a landmark in the thriving Mekong Delta city. The 262-room hotel includes an all-day dining restaurant, a signature restaurant serving Vietnamese and Khmer cuisine, a serene pool bar, and a lobby lounge. The hotel also offers an extensive event space including a grand ballroom.

Four Points by Sheraton Lang Son is a 21-story hotel in the heart of the charming northern city, offering panoramic views of the surrounding forests and mountains. Designed for today’s modern travellers, the hotel’s contemporary design and friendly service will enable guests to kick back, relax, and enjoy the authentic local flavours and experiences the city has to offer. The hotel features 127 guestrooms and suites, three dining outlets including an all-day dining restaurant, a terrace bar, and a lobby lounge. Additional facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a spa, a fitness centre, and a ballroom.

Two additional new-build hotels – Sheraton Vinh and Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang – are expected to open in 2025. Both are located in unique locations promising to attract not only domestic but also international travellers to Vietnam.
