On Sunday, 21st April 2019, the 5-star Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket treated 13 children from the SOS Children’s Village Phuket to a fun-filled Easter celebration with lots of food and exciting treats.
The children started the day with face painting and bunny decorating activities organized by the resort’s Recreation Team, followed by a sumptuous Easter feast at the beachfront Café Studio.
Continuing the celebrations, the children were taken to the Little Birds Club where they played and had fun. They were also invited to join some fun Easterthemed activities held at the resort’s Garden Lawn alongside other children.
The Easter celebration with the kids from SOS Children’s Village Phuket is one of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to provide for the less fortunate and bring much needed joy for the underprivileged children.
The resort has been working closely with the SOS Children’s Village Phuket, a local charity located in Phuket Town. Set up in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami, it provides a loving home for children through foster care, to give them a safe place to grow and develop.
