Available every weekday (Monday to Friday) from 12 to 4pm, the “Express Set Lunch” concept features a choice of six three-course set menus – two Thai, two Western and two Japanese – each featuring an enticing starter, a choice of mouth-watering main courses, and a delectable dessert, accompanied by one soft drink, tea or coffee.
The two Thai set menus are ideal for meat or seafood lovers. Set A starts with gaeng jued tao hoo sa-rai (Thai clear soup with vegetables, seaweed and egg tofu), followed by a choice of pad ka pao salmon (golden-fried salmon with spicy holy basil sauce on rice, topped with a fried egg) or salmon Panang (golden-fried salmon with Panang curry sauce on rice), and a traditional dessert of chao guay (grass jelly in syrup), while Set B includes an appetizer of poh taek talay (spicy & sour seafood soup with holy basil), with a choice of mains – khao pad moorakhot (wok-fried rice with chili & Thai green herbs, with a choice of pork or chicken) or gai kua prik klue (golden-fried chicken with chili & salt on rice) – and lord chong (sweet pandan noodles with coconut milk) for dessert.
A choice sublime Western set menus are also available. Set A features salmon salad to start, followed by a choice of Italian main courses, spaghetti with Bolognese, carbonara, tomato & basil, or aglio e olio sauce, or home-baked pizza (Margherita, Hawaiian, or grilled chicken toppings), and a dessert of freshly-cut tropical fruit. Alternatively, Set B comprises a classic Caesar Salad, followed by a choice of grilled salmon (with mashed potatoes, spinach and dill cream sauce), or chicken piccata (grilled chicken in lemon & caper butter with sautéed spinach), and vanilla, chocolate or strawberry ice cream for dessert.
Finally, fans of Japanese cuisine can savor two tempting set menus: Set A starts with tofu salad, before a main course of grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce on rice or glazed salmon with white miso on rice, ending with freshly-cut tropical fruit, while Set B commences with ebi salad (featuring shrimp and shrimp roe), followed by a choice of mains, oyakodon (boiled chicken & egg with shoyu & dashi broth on rice) or butadon (caramelized pork & onion with shoyu on rice), and a dessert of dungo (rice flour dumpling with sweet shoyu sauce).
The “Express Set Lunch” menus are priced at just THB 400 net per set for the two Thai options, or THB 450 net per set for the Western or Japanese options, including three courses, one soft drink, tea or coffee.
