Signature Restaurants at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort Promise Delight in Every Bite with Week-Long Songkran and Easter Festivities on the Chao Phraya River

With joint Songkran and Easter celebrations around the corner, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is poised to become a focal point for this year’s waterfront festivities.

Whether guests are looking to reconnect with each other by the pool after indulging in an Easter roast or to ring in Thai New Year with platefuls of dim sum, the roster of this year’s culinary events covers every taste imaginable.

Staying true to its popular laid-back and breezy concept, Trader Vic’s Easter Brunch on Sunday, 17 April will offer guests access to one of the largest swimming pools in Bangkok and an array of cuisines spanning Tex-Mex and Pacific Rim to Easter staples and regional delights. Guests can also expect steaming baskets of dim sum, sizzling teppanyaki, and a crêpes Suzette live station, while activities will focus on the little ones with Easter egg painting workshops, an egg hunt and a magic show on offer. The soft beverages package is THB 2,400++, while the price of THB 3,300++ includes free-flow wine, beer and cocktails.

When it comes to Songkran celebrations, Anantara Riverside Bangkok is offering multiple family-friendly options. On 13 and 17 April, Benihana will be hosting a Teppanyaki Party for those who want to add a dramatic flair to the proceedings. Benihana’s signature high-energy feast will feature a special set menu (THB 8,999++ for a party of six, THB 10,999++ for a party of eight). On Saturday April 16thBenihana Family Brunch will dazzle with multiple teppanyaki grills and a special dessert. Groups of four people can book a table for the price of THB 1,500++, which includes a printed group photograph to take home as a souvenir.

Between 13 and 17 April, guests can also celebrate with a rich and varied feast at Spice & Barley with such highlights as non-stop dim sum and barbecued suckling pig for THB 888 net per person. The all-new Maa Laa Café & Studio, in the meantime, will be showcasing the traditional summer dish of khao chae amid fresh blooms and art. Available daily between 9 and 17 April, khao chae at Maa Laa Café & Studio is priced at THB 699++ for two persons, including herbal Thai drinks.

For celebrations right on the waterfront, Longtail by the River is hosting a Songkran Tapas Dinner with delicious bite-sized appetisers cooked to order. Taking place on 13 April, the three-hour event will feature a live DJ set, as well as free-flow cocktails, beer, house wine and select spirits for the price of THB 1,199++.

Lastly, the ‘Riverside Songkran Escape’ package awaits guests wishing to celebrate Thai New Year with an unforgettable getaway amid riverside luxury and tranquillity. The overnight rate of USD 119 includes one-night stay for two guests with breakfast; a THB 2,000 resort credit per day per room to be redeemed on food, drinks and spa services; and Kasara Executive Lounge benefits for stays in Junior Riverview Suite, Anantara Riverfront Suite and Two-Bedroom River View Chao Phraya Suite.
