For the clubs usual Monthly event, September we met at the Consul’s Garden for an informal gathering to welcome new Skål member Will Robinson, and welcomed guests Ajarn Weena, Ian and Sam. Round table discussions: Vaccine progress, airport status, cities quarantine procedures, and TAT initiatives. * A special thanks to Skål member Martin Venzky-Stalling for all his help in the cities current affairs and superior communications. Very much appreciated and well recognized, excellent!
The city can be seen getting more and more active now, as a group we appeared to be 100% vaccinated; a commendable beginning to a worry-free travel future. At the shopping malls a definite increase in foot traffic can be seen, with many people are even doing sit down lunches and dinners. It was especially encouraging news hearing Skål member Kishore Ladsaria is finally receiving guest occupancies at his hotel in town. Lee Chang hotel.
As we look to the end of the year and travel restrictions become more relaxed, it’s becoming more apparent and optimistic that we can expect for more networking opportunities and for more encouraging growth ahead.
