THAI Celebrates Its Sendai-Bangkok Inaugural Flight

Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, President, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), presided over a ribbon-cutting ceremony to deliver passengers on the inaugural flight TG627 Sendai-Bangkok which departed from Sendai at 11.15 hours (local time) and arrive in Bangkok at 16.05 hours with Boeing 777-300 aircraft, royally bestowed the name “Lahan Sai”. THAI received permission to paint the aircraft in Suphannahong Royal Barge livery with the Royal Emblem in Commemoration of the Royal Coronation Ceremony. Ms. Kazuko Kouri, Mayor, Sendai city and Mr. Takuya Iwai, President, Sendai International Airport attended the ceremony at Sendai International Airport.
