Thailand Privilege Card Targets GCC Market Expansion

Thailand Privilege - logoIn a strategic move to attract high-potential expatriates, Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited is expanding its distributor and membership base with a focus on penetrating the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market. This initiative, supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), was prominently showcased at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates.

The event, which ranks as the most significant tourism sales platform in the Middle East and the third-largest globally, saw the official inauguration of the Thailand Privilege Card booth by Ms Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, and Ms Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The highlight of the presentation was the introduction of four exclusive membership cards—GOLD, PLATINUM, DIAMOND, and RESERVE—offering durations of 5, 10, 15, and 20+ years, respectively. These cards provide a range of tailored benefits designed to enhance the lifestyle of long-term residents in Thailand.

Mr. Manatase Annawat, President of Thailand Privilege Card, emphasized the significance of the Arabian Travel Market 2024, describing it as a monumental event that attracts leading industry players from across the globe. He noted that the GCC countries, known for their high purchasing power, align perfectly with the company’s expansion strategy into emerging markets. Participation in this event is seen as a pivotal opportunity to recruit new distributors and members, promote the unique membership cards to foreigners seeking long-term residency in Thailand, and forge new business relationships with agencies capable of expanding the market in the region.

In addition to the Arabian Travel Market, Thailand Privilege Card has been invited to participate in the Muay Thai Gala 2024, an event organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This event presents a valuable opportunity for Thai entrepreneurs and leading businesspeople from Saudi Arabia to network and collaborate to promote Thai national arts internationally. The company aims to use this platform to introduce the Thailand Privilege Card programs to Thai culture and tourism and sports authorities enthusiasts in Saudi Arabia, facilitating business matching with critical players in related industries.

According to TAT statistics, tourists from the Middle East have the highest average spending per person per trip while travelling in Thailand. This data underscores the company’s policy to expand its membership base into high-potential new markets, stimulating the economy, generating revenue, and bringing foreign currency into the country. “This strategy not only boosts Thailand’s economic growth but also solidifies our position as a global leader in long-term visa privileges,” stated Mr. Manatase.
