The St. Regis Bangkok celebrates family, fun, and togetherness with culinary experiences on 13–16 April 2022 to mark the Thai New Year of Songkran.
For four days only, a selection of auspicious Thai dishes and signature Western classics are presented for the Songkran Family Sharing Set Menu. Guests can customize their lunch celebration with a choice of starters, soups or curries, and main dishes.
Thai flavorful starters include Pomelo Salad with River Prawn; Crispy Catfish Salad; Grilled Beef Wagyu Striploin with Spicy Tamarind Sauce; and Pla US Scallops.
The selection of soups and curries includes Western classics such as Lobster Bisque Soup and Mushroom Truffle Cream Soup, as well as Asian flavors including Crab Meat Curry with Betel Leaf and Wagyu Beef with Turmeric Curry.
For the main course, diners have a choice of over 10 dishes, including Herb-Crusted Australian Lamb Rack; Tournedos Rossini; and Grilled Australian Wagyu Striploin. There are also plenty of seafood options, including Boston Lobster Thermidor; Deep-Fried Seabass with Three Flavor Sauce; and Seared Norwegian Salmon with Sweet Green Pea and Caviar Sauce.
All sets come with complimentary Khao Chae chilled rice dish set, complete with rice soaked in butterfly pea and jasmine flower-infused water, and served with traditional condiments including Stuffed Sweet Peppers; Kapi Balls; Stuffed Shallots; Shredded Sweetened Pork; and Crispy Fish.
On Friday, 15 April, The St. Regis Bangkok hosts an exclusive Songkran barbecue buffet by the outdoor swimming pool on the 15th floor from 3:00 – 7:00 PM for in-house guests and Club Marriott members only. The festive gathering comes complete with live DJ performance and unlimited flamed-grilled treats for Songkran party revelers.
Guests enjoy a choice of barbecue classics such as Mixed Grill Sausage with Roasted Vegetables, a choice of BBQ skewers (chicken, prawn, lamb, beef); BBQ Pork Rack; Mini Burgers served with Green Salad (choice of chicken and beef); and Mixed Grill Seafood Platter. For the ultimate summer treat, a selection of ice-cream flavors and popsicles are also on offer by the poolside.
