The St. Regis Bangkok reveals this year’s collection of four mooncake flavors in anticipation of Mid-Autumn Festival 2020 on Thursday, 1 October 2020, presented in an exceptional keepsake box. In the spirit of thanksgiving, and to celebrate family reunion and the gathering of friends, the hotel has released mooncakes in four classic fillings – durian, mixed nuts, lotus seed, and jujube – each enhanced with a single egg yolk.
The traditional pastries can be gifted in sets of four mooncakes, packaged in a unique round mooncake box reminiscent of a Chinese circular window. Once the mooncakes have been consumed, the custom-made box can be transformed into an exquisite picture frame to display on a shelf or wall. Each mooncake is also individually wrapped in custom gold foil boxes adorned with meaningful festival imagery including a full moon and a hare, companion of the moon goddess.
