“From shelf to plate”, VIVIN Grocery has longed to combine their love for artisanal groceries with delicious finished meals that their customers could enjoy. Finally that dream is now a reality. Since their humble beginnings at the farmers market 6 years ago, Co Founder, Nicolas Vivin has made a name for the “VIVIN” brand as the “go-to” for local Thai cheese, cold cuts and charcuteries.
After appearing at boutique corners in Emquartier and Central Chidlom, they closed their mini corners to focus on their first stand-alone store. The first “VIVIN Grocery” store located at Ekamai Complex, opened in November 2019. Since then, the grocery has expanded the range to offer even more quality produce from Thailand; certified organic seasonal vegetables, Thai grass fed cow milk, Charolais Thai Beef, free range eggs, artisanal granolas, jams, bakery and much more. Making VIVIN Grocery a one-of-its-kind boutique grocery store in Thailand.
VIVIN Grocery successfully developed an artisanal sandwich range and Apero Box (cheese and/or cold cuts platter selection) for delivery, based on the quality ingredients supplied in-store. Always innovating and evolving, VIVIN Grocery now launched their dine-in “Grocerant” menu this September 1st 2020, with a Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Menu offer. But unlike many other supermarket ‘grocerants’, VIVIN Grocery will prepare all their dine-in meals fresh to order. No hot ready-meals in banquet trays or wilting salads in display bowls!
Grocerant highlights include a free-range egg ‘fluffy omelettes’; a style of omelette which can be found in Normandie, France. Customers can choose from a Classic Omelette, to the Three (Artisan) Cheeses or the Local Goat Cheese, Spring onion Omelette with optional sides like pork lardons and potatoes or seasonal vegetables with homemade pesto. Bound to be a hit, with both gourmands and instagramers.
Coffee with Thai coffee beans and a range of bakeries, such as croissants, baguettes and loaves are available or try healthy breakfast bowls of granola, yogurt and seasonal organic fruit. For lunch, VIVIN Grocery’s already popular artisanal sandwiches are a great choice, available in 20cm or 40cm size, or try the juicy French homestyle burger varieties; Classic Burger with Le Doi Pao Cheese or Molene Cheese Burger or Thai Sai Blue Cheese Sauce Burger. The Lyonnaise salad, a specialty from the region of the founder comes as a large plate piled high of organic greens, accompanied with crispy lardons, poached egg and VIVIN Grocery’s in-house vinaigrette dressing.
For after-work bites or a cruisy weekend brunch or sundown, customers can enjoy an aperitif with VIVIN’s APERO Cheese and/or Cold Cuts Platter to pair with the many bottles of biodynamic wines. For dinner choose from a range of hot dishes; selection of bronze cut pasta varieties with homemade beef ragout, or choose from their many cuts of steaks cooked to your liking with housemade sauces; 3 Kampot Pepper, Hilltribe Chili Sauce, Tha Sai Blue Cheese sauce and Butter jus sauce. Finish off your meal with a free-range egg Caramel Egg Custard, Chocolate Mousse or select from the weekly homemade specials like Tropezienne tart. Breakfast & Lunch “Combos” sets are also available, at unbeatable quality and price.
Don’t eat meat? Never mind! Vegetarian options are also available, such as our Local Goat Cheese or Grilled Halloumi Salad or Vegan option of pastas with sauce of 7 varieties of organic tomatoes.
