Buffet items such as turkey and pumpkin quiches, bakery treats including caramel pecan cheese cake, and handicrafts ranging from cotton chickens to laurel wreaths are among Alma Resort’s Thanksgiving offerings on Nov. 23 this year. Alma’s Kids Club will encourage youngsters to make Thanksgiving cards, write in a gratitude journal, and craft cotton chickens, laurel wreaths and booker markers with colored dried leaves. In addition to turkey, Alma Garden’s special buffet items will include corn bread, pumpkin quiches, pumpkin donuts, and pumpkin muffins. Alma Food Court’s French Bakery will sell pumpkin mousse, pumpkin cream cheese muffins and pumpkin donuts in addition to caramel pecan cheesecake.
