Michael Henssler, a distinguished figure in the hotel industry with nearly three decades of rich experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Centara. A proud alumnus of the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland, Henssler’s journey is marked by notable leadership roles, particularly with Kempinski, Europe’s leading luxury hotel group. His most recent accomplishment was serving as Kempinski’s Chief Operating Officer for Asia.
In his new role at Centara, Henssler is tasked with overseeing the commercial, operational, and development divisions. His collaboration with Centara’s senior executive team is anticipated to inject fresh insights and strategies, propelling the company towards its goal of being a top-tier player in the global hospitality market. Henssler’s vision encompasses securing new hotel management contracts in dynamic destinations, further diversifying Centara’s presence across international markets, and exploring new sectors such as branded residences and wellness retreats.
