This year’s mooncake collection by Conrad Centennial Singapore is encased in elegant  sets, symbolising togetherness and happiness. Crafted in luxurious leatherette, the round box’s design draws inspiration from the enchanting peony gardens that define its signature Chinese restaurant, Golden Peony.

Choose from the Golden Peony Traditional Baked Treasures set, Golden Peony Traditional Baked Delights set, or Golden Peony Snowskin Treasures set. The baked sets offer a range of Cantonese-style mooncakes, including favourites such as White Lotus with Melon Seeds as well as Baked Double Yolk in White Lotus Paste. A new flavour infused with jasmine green tea pays tribute to the restaurant’s deep appreciation for Chinese tea culture. The collection also features a handcrafted Teochew-style mooncake that delicately layers sweet potato with flaky filo pastry.

The mooncake collection also includes four indulgent snow skin creations. Among them, the Signature Royal Hazelnut Crunch offers a luxurious blend of flavours while the Hojicha introduces a unique twist of roasted tea. The Avocado with Vanilla Truffle combines creamy avocado with the richness of vanilla, and the Ondeh Ondeh is a nod to the nostalgic Southeast Asian dessert.

Conrad Singapore Orchard | Summer Palace

Conrad Singapore Orchard unveils its anticipated mooncake collection, crafted by the culinary team of one Michelin-starred Summer Palace. Presenting two gift box sets for the occasion, the Summer Palace Classic Treasures box set features a selection of traditional baked mooncakes including the signature flavour of Parma Ham and Pork Floss with Assorted Nuts. The Summer Palace Snowskin Collection showcases eight mini snow skin mooncakes that combine traditional flavours such as Black Sesame Paste and Mao Shan Wang Durian with new flavours like Lemon Mascarpone Chocolate with Blue Pea Tea, and Coconut Chocolate with Black Glutinous Rice.

A collaboration with Roku Gin has resulted in an exclusive Luxury Box where the centrepiece’s  sleek hexagonal design is inspired by the spirit’s six unique Japanese botanicals – sakura flower, sakura leaf, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper, and yuzu. Limited to only 200 sets, the curated selection includes a bottled cocktail of Purple Moon, a spirit-forward bottled cocktail crafted with Roku Gin, and two sake cups. The highlight of the collection is the selection of eight handcrafted mini snow skin mooncakes, each adorned with gold-dusted charcoal skin and carrying a core of chocolate and Roku Gin.

 Hilton Shanghai Songjiang Guangfulin | The Bright Moon and Scenic Mountains

This year, Hilton Shanghai Songjiang Guangfulin’s mooncake collection is centred around the theme ‘The Bright Moon and Scenic Mountains’. Guests can take their pick from a series of Cantonese-style mooncake flavours such as Mung Bean Paste, Red Date Paste, Coconut and Lotus Seed Paste.

The beautiful packaging incorporates elements of a bright moon, phoenix feathers, bellflowers and red lotus flowers, all symbolising good wishes. The gift box is designed using a three-dimensional paper-cutting technique, creating a multi-layered scene that features intricate embossing on a box moulded from pulp, doing away with  the need for any adhesive and plastic. The main body of the gift box is also made from completely biodegradable sugarcane residue and bamboo pulp.

Designed with sustainability as its main aim, the main body of the gift box is biodegradable in marine and soil environments, transforming into organic fertiliser. The bottom of the box can be then used as a seedling cup, directly buried in the soil, reducing root damage caused during transplantation.

Finely created with sustainable bamboo materials, the mooncake box depicts ocean waves gracefully cascading beneath a resplendent full moon. Symbolising harmony and abundance, the ocean waves in the design represent the ebb and flow of life, reflecting the cyclical nature of the seasons and the lunar calendar. The full moon, a symbol of unity and reunion, shines brightly, signifying the cherished tradition of gathering loved ones during this auspicious occasion.
